I am a Consultant ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with a dual practice across the NHS and private sector. My NHS work is based at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and Bedford Hospital within the Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I am actively involved in the multidisciplinary management of complex ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions.
In my private practice, I consult at Spire Harpenden Hospital and The Cobham Clinic in Luton, providing timely access to specialist assessment and treatment in a calm, patient-focused setting.
I am listed on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council (UK), reflecting completion of the highest level of surgical training and accreditation in the UK. My training spans leading institutions in both the UK and India, where I was awarded a national Gold Medal for achieving the highest distinction in ENT.
To further refine my subspecialist expertise, I undertook advanced fellowship training in Head & Neck and Thyroid surgery, alongside dedicated training in Otology (ear surgery). This breadth of training allows me to manage a wide spectrum of conditions, from common ENT concerns to complex oncological and reconstructive cases.
My clinical practice is built on three core principles:
I believe patients value not only technical expertise, but also trust, accessibility, and reassurance. My aim is to provide all three—consistently.
Throughout my career, I have been recognised with several academic and professional distinctions, including Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS), Fellowship of the European Board of Otolaryngology (FEBORL-HNS), and Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). These reflect a continued commitment to excellence, international standards, and high-quality surgical care.
I have extensive experience in managing a broad spectrum of ENT conditions across both adults and children. My clinical practice encompasses procedures involving the tonsils, adenoids, sinuses, ears, larynx (voice and airway), salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid glands, as well as the head and neck cancer.
My subspecialist focus is in Head & Neck and Thyroid surgery, alongside ear and voice surgery. I have particular expertise in the assessment and management of neck lumps, head and neck cancers, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland conditions, voice disorders, and hearing loss requiring medical or surgical treatment.
I am core member of the regional Head and Neck Cancer and Thyroid Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Teams, where complex cases are discussed collaboratively to ensure patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to their individual needs.
In addition, I serve as Chair and Lead of this Multi-Disciplinary Team, leading a team of specialists in the diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex cancer cases. This role reflects both clinical expertise and leadership responsibility, ensuring that every patient benefits from coordinated, high-quality care and optimal clinical outcomes.
